2. Synology Surveillance Station + Plate Recognizer
After BeeStation, Synology announced about Surveillance Station that support automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) on March 28, 2024. This was done in collaboration with Plate Recognizer. Due to this partnership, many capabilities were added to deployment needs such as commercial property management, transport infrastructure monitoring, etc.
ALPR abilities are definitely game changers in video surveillance. This combination of Synology Surveillance Station and Plate Recognizer combines two powerful systems to create a comprehensive and easy solution.
With Synology Surveillance Station, a person can watch and record live view videos. Moreover, he can set up scheduled recording and playback recorded events with the help of a web browser, a mobile phone, or a Visual Station. You will also get notifications in case an important event occurs.
3. Synology Integration with AXIS Door Controllers
Synology’s partnership with Axis Communications combined video monitoring with physical access control. This combination offered a perfect security solution that is easy to deploy and manage. This integration was announced on April 23, 2024.
In its latest surveillance Station 9.2, Synology has integrated with AXIS A1610, the newest model of Network door Controller. Users can monitor video feeds in addition to the real-time access control. This allows them to define access rules for specific times and locations. Not only this, people also get security alerts for any incidents across multiple cross-site locations.
